Have you been told that you need your wisdom teeth? Have you been putting off having your wisdom teeth removed due to FEAR?
We recommend most patients have their wisdom teeth removed in their late teens or early 20s (but every patient is different). Most people do not have enough room in their jaws to accommodate proper growth of their wisdom teeth and maintain good oral hygiene. Keeping wisdom teeth can lead to cavities, gum infections, damage to adjacent teeth and possibly even a trip to the emergency room (due to infection).
Good news though! Wisdom teeth are normally easy to remove and recovery is quick.
